Meet Dr. Peter March

Dr. Peter March received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the Arthur A. Dugoni University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. (Dr. Jen and Dr. March sat next to one another during their dental school tenure). He went to undergrad at Wesleyan University in Connecticut and has a Master’s degree from Bucknell University. Since graduating dental school, he has worked in the Bay Area, San Diego and Texas. Dr. March recently moved back to San Diego from Dallas where he was working for the past several years.

Dr. March was born and raised on an idyllic farm in central Pennsylvania. His life has been an eclectic journey through diverse experiences that have shaped his commitment to community service, love for nature, and passion for dentistry. His love of animals led him to a job as a zookeeper prior to graduate school, and his passion for plants and botany led him to volunteer as an agricultural specialist serving in the Peace Corps in The Gambia, West Africa. After volunteering, he was a science teacher and a tomato genetics researcher at UC Davis before deciding to apply to dental school.

His life has been filled with curiosity and he has many hobbies. Along with his love for exotic pets, he plays several instruments including the piano and guitar – he was in a band in dental school and continues to play and record music in his free time. Now settled back in San Diego with his wife Yoojin, he is dedicating himself to dentistry, offering patients a conservative approach to achieving healthy and beautiful smiles. He is filled with excitement for the journey ahead at Bay View Dental, embracing each moment with gratitude and joy. He looks forward to treating you and your family in the very near future.
